This hard-to-reach landmark, which we'll reach in comfort, enjoying the views from a bird's-eye view.
After a stroll by the lakes, we'll fly to Pulatkhan Mesa, a mysterious plateau shrouded in legend. From here, a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountain ranges opens up. This remote location is part of the unexplored, unconventional Uzbekistan. Getting here on your own requires traversing many kilometers of challenging terrain, but we'll reach the lakes by helicopter and fully enjoy the ringing silence, fresh air, mountain scenery, and untouched nature.
The color of the water in the three lakes changes depending on the season and weather: it can be a piercing turquoise or a delicate white. But at any time of year, the lakes are incredibly beautiful, and their remoteness makes a visit even more rewarding and impressive. This is the perfect place for those looking to escape the worries of everyday life and find some solitude.

Gastronomic Uzbekistan
Getting to know the local cuisine is a must-do on any program, but what if you try making Samarkand flatbreads yourself using the traditional recipe? You'll attend a master class where you'll learn all the secrets of this famous pastry. Legend has it that the Khan of Bukhara ordered the most experienced Samarkand flatbread makers to be brought to him, but they couldn't make the flatbreads in Bukhara—even with the same flour and in the same tandoor. "It's probably all in the air," the Khan concluded.
After the master class, you'll visit the Ulugbek Observatory and the European part of the city. Lunch break, followed by Registan Square with its triad of madrassas. You've probably seen this easily recognizable square in many photographs! Today we'll also visit the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, admire its murals and carved marble, and once again delve into the country's history and learn the main secret of Tamerlane's beloved wife.

Once again, we'll travel in a comfortable business-class carriage on the high-speed Afrosiyób train. We'll cover the 250 km from Samarkand to Bukhara in less than two hours. After dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we'll head to a picturesque teahouse for lunch. On the menu is Bukhara's dietary pilaf, which is in no way inferior in flavor to the traditional meat dish.
In Bukhara, we'll visit the Lyabi-Khauz complex, an architectural ensemble by a picturesque pond in the city center. Then we'll take a stroll through the Jewish quarters and see artisan workshops. If you'd like, you can try your hand at craftsmanship. The tour includes a visit to a famous blacksmith's shop, where the same family has been working for seven generations.
The active program will conclude at the Poi Kalon architectural complex, another icon of Uzbekistan, with a majestic minaret column, two madrassas, and a mosque.
Back at the hotel, you can relax and then attend a folklore show to further immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this fairytale city.

Residences of the rulers
Bukhara is a remarkable city. It's relatively small, yet filled with amazing and vibrant sights that await you at every turn. The oriental atmosphere and streets more typical of a medieval European town, the stunning architectural ensembles from various eras, the museums and mausoleums—all of this doesn't create the impression of a chaotic mix of cultures, but rather appears harmonious, as if it were a single whole.
We'll visit the "Palace Like the Stars and the Moon"—Mohi-Khosa, built in the 18th and 19th centuries—see exotic peacocks in the complex's gardens, and delve into the mysteries of the harem. Of course, Bukhara is unimaginable without its religious context, so we'll also see the iconic Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex and learn about Sufism. After a break for lunch and a manti-making workshop, we'll head to the oldest architectural monument—the Ismail Samani Mausoleum (9th century). The active program will conclude at the oriental bazaar, after which you'll have free time for strolling or other leisure activities.

Gijduvan
Just 46 kilometers from Bukhara lies Gijduvan, a city of master ceramicists whose craft dates back six generations. Their exquisite and easily recognizable works are purchased by dignitaries, celebrities, and top politicians. The most famous pottery family in Gijduvan is the Narzullaev family. The founder of this talented dynasty created his own unique style and passed on his secrets to his descendants. At the Narzullaev Ceramics Center, you can not only purchase their pieces but also attend a master class where you can create your own dish or jug under the careful guidance of a trainer. Children are also welcome to participate in the master class.
Here we'll also sample the famous Gijduvan shashlik, prepared by a family of artisans. Then we'll return to Bukhara, whose sights, of course, were impossible to explore in one day. We'll admire the massive walls of the ancient Ark citadel and climb to the observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of the city.
Food: legendary Gijduvan shashlik.

A true oriental fairytale awaits you, with a cozy courtyard and a terrace offering views. You can also take advantage of the wellness and spa center with an indoor pool, fitness center, and sauna.
Shopping in Bukhara
Choose from such different and yet so similar shopping areas: the Bukhara trading domes with spices, furs, and fabrics, or the oriental bazaar with culinary delights—nuts, dried fruits, and delicious flatbreads (in no way inferior to the famous Samarkand ones!). You can visit both locations if you wish.
We'll also visit the Silk Road Teahouse, where we'll enjoy tea with Uzbek sweets, or a little slice of Germany in the heart of an ancient Eastern city—the Wishbone café, serving classic strudels. Its owner, Gertrud, a German woman, fell in love with Bukhara at first sight and decided to stay, opening a coffee shop.
The next day we'll say goodbye to this fairytale land—an early departure to the airport awaits you for the return flight from Bukhara to Moscow.
