Aniva Lighthouse
One of Sakhalin's must-see gems is the Sivuchya Rock Lighthouse, built by the Japanese in 1939. The structure is unique in that part of it is natural, carved from the rock itself. From the top of the 31-meter, nine-story tower, a breathtaking view of the surrounding area opens up.
Cape Giant
You've definitely seen images of this cape while looking at photos of the region. Picturesque arches, remains rising from the water, and a rich fauna: bird colonies nest here, seals rest, and bears are spotted. This cape will impress even the most seasoned traveler!
Quiet Bay
This place fully lives up to its name: the bay is sheltered from the winds and weather by the rocky walls of the Zhdanko Ridge. The calming sound of waves, the cries of seagulls, the majestic atmosphere, and the whimsical shapes of the cliffs carved by the waves.
Steller sea lion rookery
The old breakwater of the Nevelsk port is one of only three places in the world where Steller sea lions can be observed in close proximity to a populated area. A sea lion is even depicted on the coat of arms of Nevelsk.
Mount Zhdanko
The highest point of the eponymous ridge is 682 meters. From the summit, you can enjoy incredible views of the island. The ridge, formed by lava flows, is home to numerous endemic plants—unique plants found nowhere else in the world.
Cape Crillon
A cape on the southern tip of Sakhalin Island, Krillon offers not only a breathtaking panorama of the ocean expanse but also an open-air museum. It houses a functioning lighthouse dating back to 1883 and a working weather station. In clear weather, the coast of Japan is visible from the cape.
Mount Spamberg
This mountain is remarkable for its hydrological system: in addition to gushing springs, streams, and picturesque waterfalls, at an altitude of 800 meters lie 18 freshwater mountain lakes, the only ones on the island. Shuisky Waterfall (35 m) is one of the recognized wonders of Sakhalin.
Moneron Island
An uninhabited natural park 43 km off the coast of Sakhalin. Crevices, grottoes, cliffs, seal rookeries and bird colonies, crystal-clear water with a rich underwater world—sometimes it's hard to believe this amazing place is actually in Russia.
Lake Busse
A gastronomic lake. Where else can you literally catch seafood delicacies with your bare hands—giant oysters, mussels, shrimp, sea urchins, whelks, and scallops? You can also spot fur seals, ringed seals, and eagles here. The local landscape—the smooth waters and meadows, perfect for a picnic—will also leave you captivated.
Sea and river fishing
The coastal waters are abundant with cod, pollock, flounder, greenling, and halibut. Huge schools of salmon—sea, pink, chum, and coho—are also found here. And, of course, a freshly cooked catch is the best reward after an exciting day of fishing.
Bears of Iturup Island
This Kuril island is famous for many attractions: cliffs, volcanoes, and bays, but Iturup's calling card is its bears. More than 1,500 of them live here. The island is also a fishing paradise—you can catch pink salmon, chum salmon, halibut, and crab here.
Yanquito Lava Plateau
The beach is straight out of a sci-fi movie: solidified volcanic lava has formed bizarre cliffs on the seashore. These places are especially beautiful at sunset, when the dark brown cliff walls are tinted with shades of red, as if transporting us to another planet or to a time when an ancient volcano was roused.
Black and White Rocks
The magically beautiful landscapes of Iturup Island. The black cliffs are lava outcrops of basaltic volcanic rocks, while the white ones are composed of pumice and volcanic glass. Another reminder of a bygone era, when nature created these amazing landscapes, which today evoke thoughts of Iceland.

Arrival on Sakhalin
You'll arrive at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport. Transfer to the hotel in comfortable cars takes between half an hour and 50 minutes. Your first day will be as relaxing as possible—it's important to rest after a long journey and get ready for adventure! Enjoy a visit to the hotel's spa complex, a sauna, and a delicious dinner at the restaurant.

The lighthouse seems to emerge from the rock, as part of it is not man-made.
We'll travel the long journey to the lighthouse in comfort, enjoying the beauty of the mountains, the sea breeze, and majestic waterfalls. We'll also test our luck—if we're lucky, we'll be accompanied by amazing creatures during this walk: killer whales, dolphins, and seals. On the way back, we'll stop for lunch at an equally picturesque spot: Cape Mramorny.

Jeeping to Cape Velikan
We board our SUVs and head to Cape Ptichiy. The route winds through wild, untouched terrain—virtually off-road, through dense forest, over hills and mountain passes. This road alone is a full-fledged adventure, but an even more thrilling experience awaits us at the end: we reach the shores of the Sea of Okhotsk and see Cape Velikan.
This unique natural landmark is familiar to anyone who has explored Sakhalin. This coastline, with its fantastic cliffs that tower along the entire coastline from Cape Ptichiy to Cape Velikan, is the region's calling card. Majestic stone arches, loud flocks of seagulls, proud cormorants and lightning-fast swifts, a narrow strip of sandy beach, pine forests on the sea terrace… An unforgettable experience and close proximity to untouched nature.

While you admire the water's surface and stroll along the shore of Lake Busse, our chef will prepare a delicious lunch of fresh catch. You can also spot marine mammals and birds on the lake.

Krillon on a helicopter
Cape Krillon is the southernmost and most inaccessible point of Sakhalin. We'll transport you here in maximum comfort in a Robinson 44 helicopter and keep you entertained along the way: from a bird's eye view, you'll see secluded bays and beautiful capes, including the famous Cape Kuznetsov—a flat plateau with dizzying cliffs.
Krillon is a natural monument and an open-air museum. Year-round, you can observe sea lion and seal rookeries here, while the Kuznetsovka River valley is home to rare bird species and unique plants, which your guide will explain. The cape also boasts a functioning lighthouse and weather station with a rich history—for example, the lighthouse was built in 1883.

Sea and river fishing
A true fishing adventure! Both amateur and professional fishermen simply must experience it.
Sea fishing on Sakhalin or Iturup Island is organized on a comfortable fishing yacht. Tackle, bait, and experienced guides are all at your service! In the coastal waters, it's easy to catch cod, pollock, flounder, and greenling. In summer, huge schools of Pacific salmon (masu, pink, chum, and coho salmon) migrate along Sakhalin. In the deep waters, you can catch halibut, rays, and even sharks.
River fishing in this region is also exciting and is sure to be successful! We'll head to the Langeri River. Pink salmon run here in droves, literally filling the water and crowding out all other fish. However, every year is different, and when the river is only lightly stocked with pink salmon, you can catch char and char in the Langeri.

Black and White Rocks
It's impossible to visit Iturup Island without seeing the legendary Black and White Rocks—so different, yet equally impressive. We'll embark on an excursion to Prostor Bay (15 km from the village of Reidovo). Our route will take us along the sea, sandbars, and vibrant flowers. Upon arrival, we'll see unique natural wonders—bizarre cliffs covered in grass, set off by white quartz and black titanium-magnetite sand. Rising against the majestic emerald sea, these cliffs will forever be remembered for their majestic charm.
The black cliffs are formed by basaltic lava flows, while the white ones are composed of pumice. Here, in the shadow of the sheer walls, we'll enjoy lunch prepared by our chef.
In the evening we will return to the hotel, where a relaxing massage, a hearty dinner and a swimming pool await you
